Learning CPR for the New Year

The New Year has begun! Let's start it off by learning how to save a life through CPR! This morning I taught two CPR classes to Mrs. Gillespie's PE class. The first period class had 18 students in it. I had a volunteer come and aid me in teaching these two classes. What I do is teach the class and my helper goes around and helps me watch to make sure the kids are doing CPR right. The first period class was a bit noisy, but they settled down when I would call for their attention. The kids were not that excited to learn CPR in the first class and some would mentioned that they already knew how. In the end no one complained and they were glade that they were taught CPR.

The second class had 12 students. This class seemed very excited to learn CPR and they were less disruptive. Mrs. Gillespie has been very helpful by making sure that the students are paying attention and doing it correctly. I have found teaching the last two CPR classes to have gotten easier for me to teach. I do not find it hard to teach, I find it fun and a lot more easier to teach the CPR classes. I am very excited to be teaching Mrs. Howard's dance class this coming week! I will be teaching her second and sixth period classes on January 10th and her first period class on January the 11th! I can not wait! Hopefully the weather will cooperate!

  1. Well the weather didn't come through-eh? Hopefully you can reschedule the classes you missed. I would like for you to ask one of the teachers whose classes you have taught CPR, to write a short infomercial for you to go in the Knightly News. Talk to me about it.
